Google’s Pixel phones for many years are kind of stuck with charging at 18W, and as that is not actually slow, but it is falling behind in the competition with number of latest phones coming into the market. F this new rumor is to be trusted, Google might be up to excelling their game with their new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
According to sources, the forthcoming flagship Pixels will be advanced to support 33W charging, which would definitely be a significant improvement in comparison with its present 18W charging speeds. Actually, the 33W charging adopter have already been put in use at Google’s Mountain View HQ. As it is already known that the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are likely to follow a new trend set by Apple and Samsung of shipping phone without chargers in the box. So it appears like in order to get the best charging speeds, one might have to buy it separately.
It’s also been talked about that a new model of the Pixel Stand may come with the Pixel 6. It will supposedly come with in-built fans so as to save more power and will help in getting faster wireless charging. If all of this comes to execution, we might be in for a real treat with the launch of new phones by Google. All the other aspects like horizontal camera bar, custom chipset and all-new design language are already known to everyone. Now it is expected from Google to offer better video recording, improved imaging capabilities and an overall superior smartphone experience. The phone may end up being the dream phone everyone was looking forward to for years.
