The hospitals serve the groups in Arkansas and Oklahoma, where the number of cases related to the Delta variant is increasing every day.
In Springfield, there are almost 120 positive patients of Covid-19. Of all these patients, 27 patients are in the ICU; another 23 patients are on the ventilator. Also, three deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours.Across the network of Mercy Hospital, there are 40,000 employees. The hospital staff at Mercy is 75% vaccinated, and 25% of them are not yet vaccinated.

Still, at present, they will not issue a policy authorizing mandatory vaccination for the employees.
